Must have a Valid Learners Permit or License to take any behind-the-wheel course !!!

Teen Behind the wheel

Virginia Law requires anyone under the age of 18 hold a VA Learners permit for at LEAST 9 MONTHS prior to receiving a VA drivers license !!!

Teens 17 years or younger, in order to be accepted in the Behind the Wheel program you must:

if these conditions are met, you are now eligible for Teen Behind the Wheel to potentially receive VA Drivers License.

Cost for this course 

  • $300 Teen behind the wheel

Once successfully complete both parts, Driver's Ed and Behind the Wheel course, student will receive 180 temporary Drivers Licence from All Seasons RVA driving school.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off:

• A one-time fee applies for pick-up and drop-off services.

• We offer pick-up for students located within a 10-minute radius of our location.

• Please note: We do not provide pick-up/drop-off services for students beyond 10 minutes from our location unless there are multiple students in that area.

• Certain locations may be excluded from our pick-up/drop-off service.

ADULT BEHIND THE WHEEL

Driver Privilege Card for Non-U.S. Citizens in Virginia

A Driver Privilege Card serves as a driver’s license for Virginia residents who are not U.S. citizens. It allows non-citizens to legally drive without requiring proof of legal presence or U.S. citizenship. However, you MUST take the DMV road test, as this requirement cannot be waived.

Eligibility for Adult Waiver of the DMV Road Test

If you are 18 or older and hold a valid Virginia learner’s permit, you may qualify for an Adult Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) course, which can waive the DMV road skills test and the 60-day holding period for your learner’s permit.

Key Points About Adult Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Instruction:

• Purpose: The Adult BTW course is designed to ensure you are prepared to drive independently and obtain your license. It is not intended to teach a beginner how to drive.

• DMV Requirements for the Adult Waiver:

1. A valid Virginia learner’s permit.

2. Completion of a Virginia-approved driver education course.

3. Possession of a Driver Education Completion Certificate (DEC-1). (If you completed classroom training with us, we already have this on file.)

4. Completion of 7 periods (50 minutes each) of in-car instruction and observation.

5. An active Service contract for the Adult BTW course.

Completion and Licensing Process:

Upon successful completion of both the classroom and in-car instruction, we will submit your Virginia Training Completion Certificate (Adult Waiver) directly to the DMV on your behalf. You will not need to take the certificate to the DMV.

Once the DMV processes your completion, you will receive your Virginia driver’s license by mail within 10 to 14 days.

DRIVING LESSONS - Learn how to Drive

These lessons are for TEENS or ADULTS and are PRIVATE, to help you LEARN how to drive or REFRESH your skills - they DO NOT count as Teen behind-the- wheel or the Adult behind-the-wheel !!!

Our goal is for you to learn:

  • braking and accelerating

  • right turns, left turns, U-turns

  • changing lanes

  • parking

  • highway driving

  • and so much more

*All Seasons RVA driving school makes NO Guarantees. Progress depends on how well you pick up. Learning how to drive is a process, and we will always give you 100% effort and patience.
